Budget cuts and increasing enrollments, coupled with legislative mandates that base funding allocations on student outcomes rather than headcount, are forcing the state of Tennessee to rethink management of its colleges and universities.
Biography20+ years of experience in leadership roles in academic systems innovation and ERP implementations at master's, associate's and research level institutions. Has taught extensively on a number of IT related topics at the graduate, undergraduate and executive education levels and has served as a consultant to regional, national and international companies on a variety of IT management issues. Tom holds a bachelors degree in chemistry along with a JD and an MBA.
