Thomas Kunka

Biography

Thomas Kunka leverages a diverse skillset and over twenty-five years of experience in higher education information technology to develop and manage new and innovative IT services that support teaching, learning, communication and productivity. Currently he leads the design and implementation of a comprehensive set of enterprise digital signage services for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and chairs the SharePoint User’s Group. Prior to his work at the University of Illinois, he revived and expended campus-wide technology training as a community of practice at Illinois State University. A graduate of the EDUCAUSE Leadership Institute and involved with EDUCAUSE since 1998, Thomas has helped form two EDUCAUSE Constituent Groups – the Digital Signage CG in 2011 and the SharePoint CG in 2014.
