Tirza Cardenas is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in English program at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She works as a communications specialist for UTSA's technology department, University Technology Solutions (UTS), and before this role, Tirza interned as an editorial intern with the department. Tirza has co-authored an article for the EDUCAUSE Review, "Transforming an Enterprise Service Portal into a Customer-Centered Solutions Service."
After starting what initially seemed like a basic software upgrade project, the Technology Solutions team at the University of Texas at San Antonio quickly realized that to achieve the desired results, the project would have to encompass department operations and processes across the university.
