Biography

Tony Lovgren, a member of ISU's central IT leadership team, currently serves as the Associate Chief Information Officer.  Tony oversees IT Customer Services & Support, Networking & Communications, Data Centers, and Systems Engineering. 

He has been active in the higher education IT community for over 20 years. He is also a member of ISU's College of Business Informatics and Computer Science adjunct faculty, currently teaching Digital Information Literacy.  Previously, Tony served as a Director of Health IT and a Systems Analyst at ISU where he developed and maintained financial and student information systems. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and an MBA. Tony is also ITIL v3 Foundations certified. He is a graduate of the EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership Program and a Leading Change/Frye Institute Fellow.
