Hello, my name is Tonya Bennett and I am the Director of Educational Technology at PennVet.

I possess strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, which enable me to develop and execute technology initiatives that support organizational objectives!

My experience and education give me a deep understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to provide insights and guidance on their potential impact on institutions, businesses, society, and individuals. I take pride in overseeing institutional technology strategy and implementation by aligning technology with institutional objectives and goals. One of my main strengths is the ability to stay ahead of the curve on emerging trends and technologies, which allows me to identify opportunities and potential challenges for institutions. As a technology thought leader, I possess a strong network of contacts within the higher education technology industry, allowing me to stay updated on the latest trends and developments.

I'm passionate about education and technology and continually seek new and innovative ways to leverage technology to enhance the learning experience for students. This, coupled with extensive pedagogy knowledge, helps me align technological solutions with specific learning objectives and outcomes.

Additionally, I thoroughly comprehend the regulatory and compliance issues that affect the use of technology in business and can ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations. I am skilled at managing teams and resources, ensuring that technology projects are completed on time and within budget. I possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, which enable me to assess complex situations and provide innovative solutions, then evaluate the effectiveness of these solutions and adjust them as necessary. As an excellent communicator, I explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to a wide range of stakeholders.
