Biography
Troy Swanson is a doctoral student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He is also Teaching & Learning Librarian at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. Troy's research interest is in exploring the successful implementation of Web 2.0 technologies within community colleges. He is a regular presenter on Web 2.0 technologies to community college and library groups. Troy manages several blogs, Web sites, and podcasts. He has also published a number of articles on the development of curricula and assessment of information literacy skills in students. Troy holds an MLIS from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois and is conducting research for his dissertation in the Community College Leadership Program at Old Dominion University.
