Valerie Dumova holds a B.A. in English from Boston University and an M.S.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University. Her areas of expertise include instructional design, blended learning, virtual classroom training, extended reality (XR), and course development. In addition to her extensive experience as a learning consultant, Valerie previously worked at Berlitz Corporation, where she supported the company’s global move to e-learning. In her role at Stevens, Valerie supports faculty in the implementation of learning technologies and the development of instructional content for on-campus, hybrid, and online courses. Valerie has also been instrumental in the establishment of the Stevens XR Lab, and works with faculty to incorporate extended reality into teaching and learning.
