http://about.me/valerielopes Dr. Valerie Lopes is a Professor in the  School of Arts and Science. Grounded in the scholarship of teaching and learning, her research focuses on the use of digital, social and mobile technologies to enhance learning and every aspect of education. Valerie is the past Chair of the Education Technology Committee for the Ontario Colleges, a research consultant with the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario and a member of the School of Graduate Studies of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Valerie is on the editorial board of the College Quarterly and is a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Education and Development using Information and Communication Technology. Valerie is an advocate for the thoughtful integration of educational technology tools and open education resources into all aspects of teaching and learning.
