Valéry PSYCHE

Biography

Valéry Psyché is Associate Professor in the Education Department at TÉLUQ University. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Computing (UQÀM), a Diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées en technologie éducative (TÉLUQ), a Master's degree in Physical Sciences (UQÀM) and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences (Grenoble-Alpes), as well as a Certificate in Software Engineering (McGill). She is co-director of the Education and Empowerment axis of the International Observatory on the Societal Impacts of AI and Digital Technologies (OBVIA), a member of the Institut d'AI appliquée (I2A,, formerly LICEF), the Centre de recherche et d'innovation en technologie éducative du Québec (I-TEQ), the Institut des sciences cognitives (ISC), and the Centre de Recherches et de Ressources en Education et Formation (CRREF). She specializes in artificial intelligence for education. She is involved in the scientific communities of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), Intelligent Turoring Systems (ITS) and the International Conference on Computer in Education (ICCE). Since the start of her career, she has been involved in national and international research projects on educational technology, distance learning, pedagogical engineering, ontological engineering, intelligent tutorial systems and authoring systems, communities of practice, digital skills development and AI, and the integration of digital technology and AI in education.
