Biography

Vera Polyakova-Norwood has thirty years of experience in designing, teaching and managing various types of distance education courses and programs. As director of distributed learning at the University of South Carolina College of Nursing, she assists faculty with design, development, implementation and evaluation of online courses, modules and activities.  In the past five years, the online graduate nursing program at the University of South Carolina has been consistently ranked within the top 10 in the nation. Vera presented at multiple local, national and international distance learning conferences and led numerous workshops on technology-based teaching and learning.
