Biography
Vicki Vox Kopecky currently holds the position of Systems Analyst III at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
After nearly a decade in academia as an assistant professor of political science, Vicki re-educated herself by completing the
core courses in the computer science curriculum at Iowa State. For the past 23 years, she has been a programmer/analyst
in the administrative systems area of IT Services at ISU. Initially, she worked on the university-run Telecommunications system,
but more recently she has been responsible for the development/implementation of the University’s Employee Reimbursement
system and for management of the migration of the existing P-card system to the web. She was a major participant in the extension
of the P-card system to Student Organizations.
