Biography

Vickie Kline is the Systems Librarian and an Associate Professor at York College of Pennsylvania. She taught a credit course in Information Literacy for ten years. She currently teaches a First Year Seminar class called "Footprints in Silicon."   She has made presentations on a variety of topics including next generation search tools, the future of cataloging, methods for organizing Internet information, and information literacy. She is a former President of the Data Research Association Users Group and a former Chair of the College and Research Division of the Pennsylvania Library Association. Her areas of expertise are library automation, the Internet, and web development.
