Victoria Getis
Biography
From 2013 to 2026, Victoria Getis served in various positions in Northwestern University IT, finishing as the Senior Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies for Northwestern University IT. She is on leave from the university for 2026-2027. Her areas of interest include: course management systems, faculty members teaching with technology, generative AI, digital accessibility, active learning environment planning, reducing the cost of course materials, and the use of learning analytics. From 2006 to 2013, she served as the director of Ohio State University's Digital Union and has a background in instructional technology gained at Ohio State and the University of Massachusetts, as well as a degree in history from the University of Michigan.
