Biography
Victoria Matthew is Director of Winter and Summer Sessions at UMass Amherst’s Continuing and Professional Education division. In this role Victoria spends a good deal of time researching new and innovative programs and ways of offering programs, which often includes the integration of leading edge learning technologies. Victoria’s current area of interest includes the incorporation of Web 2.0 technologies into online instruction, her focus being the opportunities for reflection and transformative learning that such technologies afford. Victoria has presented both nationally and locally on such subjects as the educational uses of blogs and wikis, and integrating information literacy into online instruction. When not staring at a computer screen, Victoria can be found snowboarding, rock climbing, gardening and running near her Guilford, VT home.EDUCAUSE Publications
