Vincent Doogan
Biography
During his nearly 30 years at NYU, Vincent held several technology leadership positions & was instrumental in leading collaborations with NYU Libraries, numerous colleges & academic departments in the adoption of technologies for research, teaching & learning. He also oversaw the creation of numerous facilities to support student computing service, centers for supporting faculty support & research needs; this included staff support at numerous international NYU campuses. His positions included, Director of ITS Student Technology Services; Director of Academic Computing Services; Managing Director of the Studio for Digital Projects & Research; and Associate Director of ACF User Services. Vincent has also been an adjunct professor on the topic of emerging technologies, at NYU's Steinhardt Graduate School of Education. Some accomplishments include the campus-wide collaborations, modernization of NYU student technology centers, establishment of: the ITS Faculty Technology Center, the Studio for Digital Projects & Research, and the university's first ITS Help Center. He holds B.S., M.A., Ed.M., M.A. degrees, and has deep interests in cognition, media design for teaching & learning & topics neural science. He is also a member of the Art Students League of New York.
