Vivek Pai is an Associate Professor at Princeton University, where his research group examines issues related to network server design and performance. His group developed the CoDeeN project on PlanetLab, which is used by more than 50,000 people daily, and serves over 25 million requests per day. He is currently on sabbatical, and is involved with PlanetWorks LLC, a startup to commercialize his group's research.
