Vlad Grigorescu
Biography
Vlad Grigorescu is a Senior Information Security Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. His main responsibility is designing, developing and deploying custom solutions for: network monitoring, threat mitigation, incident response automation, and log collection and aggregation. He is also currently a member of the Internet2 SALSA-CSI2 working group and a Bro Network Security Monitor developer. Vlad's most recent work is Brownian - a web interface for quickly searching through billions of logs generated by Bro. Before joining CMU, Vlad worked as a network technician, IT security analyst, network developer, and IT security engineer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.EDUCAUSE Presentations
