Dr. Britt Watwood is an Associate Director for Online Course Design in the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research at Northeastern University. Previously, he was a senior consultant at VCU's Center for Teaching Excellence, as well as Director of Online Learning at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Britt received his Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership in Higher Education from the University of Nebraska. His Masters degree is from Old Dominion University, and his Bachelor degree is from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. Besides teaching for over 20 years, he also helped develop the University of Nebraska’s, Herkimer Community College’s and Gwinnett Tech’s first virtual degree programs. He additionally was a certified Baldrige examiner for the state of Georgia’s Business Quality Award: The Oglethorpe Award.
