Wendy Worlund is the Manager of Client Services at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She leads the team of IT professionals and student employees in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) which supports all faculty, staff, students, researchers, and guests on campus. In her role, Wendy provides overall leadership and oversight of Help Desk and Desktop Support operations and is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining solutions and processes that empower her customer-centric team to make maximum impact. Examples of efficiency tools/resources are Blackboard Student Services, Bomgar, CrashPlan, and TeamDynamix; she specializes in G Suite and Customer Relationship Management solutions. Her team supports campus-wide services, including enterprise solutions, network, desktop hardware and software, and peripherals. Before entering the world of Higher Education as a professional, Wendy managed support teams at SirsiDynix - the worldwide industry leader in library automation technologies. She has also managed products and projects for two small software companies in Huntsville, AL. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of North Alabama.
