Biography
At University of Vermont since 1986 providing IT support for faculty, staff, and students. Thirty years have seen a lot of technologies come and go, from refrigerator sized Calcomp 4-pen plotters powered by Digital Equipment Corporation VAX mainframes to Skype and ESPN on disposable pocket sized devices. I have programmed in BASIC, ALOGOL, COBAL, FORTRAN, perl, Php, Javascript, and Arduino C. I have designed and built databases, edited digital video, built walking robots, and provided faculty support for using Blackboard, WordPress, iMovie, Camtasia, and PowerPoint. All in a days work. When not working, I like to ski.EDUCAUSE Presentations
