Biography

Wiebke Kuhn joined Carleton College in 2020 as Director of Academic Technology.  She became Auburn University's first Learning Spaces and Faculty Development Coordinator in 2017, focused on designing, managing, and training on active learning spaces. Her experiences range from instructional technology implementation and support over working with facilities and other stakeholders to explore new learning spaces to leading teams of dedicated and passionate professionals supporting faculty in various modes of support and working with faculty to give them opportunities to rethink the way they teach their classes. Previously, she was the IT Manager in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and taught English at Auburn University; she holds a Ph.D. in Medieval English Literature and an Ed.S. in Adult Education with a focus on active learning in higher education.
