Bill Hyndman

Biography

In August 2011, Dr Hyndman joined the faculty at Young Harris College. He currently teaches Computer Science at YHC. He thoroughly enjoys teaching at this fine liberal arts college in the North Georgia mountains. In June 2005, Dr. Hyndman moved to Toccoa Falls College in Georgia to launch a new online program there. Prior to this, Bill joined Crown College in MN as the founding Distance Education Director in the summer of 2000. Before this, Dr. Hyndman served at two other Bible College's: Aldersgate College and Vennard College. Bill's wife Nancy also worked at the above mentioned colleges as well. At Crown College, she served as the Director of the Adult Programs and taught English Composition. She will continue to teach and direct the learning support labs at Toccoa Falls College. Dr. Hyndman obtained his B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Vennard College; an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries at Bethel College in Mishiwaka,IN; an M.A. in Theological Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary; and Ed.D. in Informational Technology at Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr Hyndman loves the latest technology in education and promotes its usage both online and in the classroom whenever possible. Bill and Nancy share a son, Bill II. Bill II and his wife Renee reside in Atlanta, GA. This latest move will cause us to living closer together in GA. The arrival of a new grandson Will III came November 1, 2005. He is a delight to all who know him. Dr. Hyndman's hobbies include: playing piano, hammered dulcimer building & playing, fishing, and camping.
