Biography
Bill Freese is the assessement coordinator in the Department of Education at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. Bill received his BS in History from MSU, worked at his home town high school in Miles City, MT for a couple of years, and in 1982 returned to MSU where he was hired as an Adjunct Instructor charged with running the Instructional Media Lab. In the academic world, adjunct means temporary, but Bill was a "permanent adjunct" which guaranteed a life of genteel poverty. Bill remained quietly at his post for decades until he got involved with the Second Life educators who, paradoxically, dragged him out into the real world. Then the Bush recession hit. The Lab was closed. Bill was asked at metaphorical gunpoint to become the assessment coordinator. Years later, after the Department had passed CAEP accreditation with flying colors, Bill was allowed to have a little fun again from time to time.
