William has been immersed in technology for the last 25 years, since he started programming at the age of 14. His programming skills got him a laboratory position analyzing the composition of juice products and developing new product formulas at a major juice manufacturing company - all before he had completed high school. He eventually served in the US Navy on-board a nuclear submarine, using his programming skills to develop radio communications encryption software. After earning a Masters of Information Systems while serving in the military, he decided to change careers and landed in higher education as the webmaster and developer for Chaminade University of Honolulu. After five years of web development and integrating systems, William moved from the FAR west coast to the east coast to work as the Associate Director of Web Development at Loyola University Maryland. Managing a team of developers and administrators, his group deals with the back-end of all web systems, as well as custom programming and integration between various systems and the web. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Business Administration.
