Biography

Yenny Anderson, as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Data, assumes a vital leadership role that centers around effectively managing, overseeing, and leveraging institutional data. This strategic approach is aimed at boosting operational efficiency, enhancing student success, and aligning with the overarching mission and objectives of the university.

Her responsibilities encompass a range of key functions, including directing institutional research, strategic analytics, and initiatives related to data governance and literacy. With over 25 years of experience in the field of Higher Education, Yenny's professional journey at Lehigh University began in 2007 as an Assistant Director in the Office of Institutional Research. Her enthusiasm for data-driven decision-making quickly became evident, propelling her advancement within the institution.

Throughout her career, Yenny has showcased unwavering dedication and expertise, leading to her current role. Before joining Lehigh University, she held pivotal roles at institutions such as Barnard College, New York Institute of Technology, and Baruch College, where she contributed significantly to budget management and institutional research endeavors.

Yenny's commitment to personal and professional growth is evident through her involvement in prestigious programs. She is an alumna of the 2015 HERS (Higher Education Resource Services) Institute, a renowned organization focused on nurturing a diverse network of women leaders within higher education. In addition, she participated in Lehigh's inaugural Pragmatic Leadership Program during the 2016-2017 academic year.

A significant milestone in her educational journey was reaching the pinnacle in 2018 with the attainment of her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management, with a specialization in Higher Education, from Drexel University. Yenny's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY), as well as a Master of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, CUNY. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research from The Pennsylvania State University.
