Biography

Yosef Meystel is a philanthropist with a deep commitment to the Illinois Jewish community, affiliated with a number of organizations in and around Chicago. He holds an MBA from Indiana University South Bend. He began his career as an assistant administrator at Brightview Care Center in Chicago before going on to direct a 150-employee nursing home in Lincolnwood.

In 2006, Yosef Meystel founded a healthcare company in Skokie, IL. The company served as a bookkeeping and financial management firm with partners working in geriatric healthcare facilities. Yosef Meystel is the president of Aperion Care managing with more than 40 nursing homes located in Indiana and Illinois. Meystel doesn’t only supervise the establishment of all nursing homes, but he also organized all human resource and finance operations for each of the centers. With nearly two decades of experience in residential administration, Yosef Meystel possesses experience assisting people with finding homes for their loved ones.

In addition to leading Aperion Care, Meystel participates in multiple community organizations and public programs. He affiliates with the Joan Dachs Bais Yaakov, an elementary school for early childhood Jewish learning. The center is a member of the Associated Talmud Torahs of Chicago. He belongs to the Agudath Israel of Illinois as well, and The Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed, a synagogue offering education, holiday celebrations, community involvement, and more.

Aperion Care is focused on providing nursing care with licensed professionals. The staff at the company's facilities in Illinois is trained for the specific needs of the elderly struggling with various health issues.
Meystel always brings out the fact that the needs and the care required by the elderly is much different than that of an adult and the program at Aperion Care is designed to meet those specific needs.
The company is a licensed, residential nursing facility. Because their program is centered around elderly healing and recovery they have a variety of methods used to benefit both mind and body health. A social protection component is incorporated along with the recreational activities at Aperion Care.
