Biography

Zev Brenner is an Orthodox Jewish radio host and president and founder of Talkline Communications, a Radio/TV network founded in 1981. He was born in New York City to Rabbi and Mrs. Paul Brenner, and studied at the New York City Technical College of the City University.

In 1988 Brenner married Adena Karen Berkowitz, a lawyer and daughter of William Berkowitz, the national president of the American Jewish Heritage Committee in New York, with whom he still resides in NYC, along with their children.

Being the only Orthodox Jew in the United States who serves as a talk-show host, Zev Brenner is known for addressing many important but controversial topics in the Jewish community. This ordained Rabbi has interviewed many notable personalities and some of some of the leading newsmakers in the Jewish and political world including New York’s Mayor Mike Bloomberg, former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senators Joseph Lieberman and Charles Schumer, Israeli Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu, former Vice President Dan Quayle and many more.

He has helped launch Spanish TV network LTV and Russian Radio Channel New Life Broadcasting, and he has spent his entire career helping expand the view of the Jewish Community, and forge the relations between Jews and other ethnic group. For his efforts on behalf of the Jewish Community, Zev Brenner has received numerous awards.
